DJ-Pascal-Belgium
DJ-Pascal-Belgium

Born in august 1969, DJ Pascal has always had a true passion for music. Since a young age - let’s say as soon as he was able to hold a 7” record in his hand - he was the one at home who had to put the records on the turntable and play them. So his mum says… In the beginning there was… The radio The story starts in the Summer of 1982 when he gets the opportunity to visit the studio of a local radio station. Mesmerized by this universe, he starts to host shows on different local radios. His adventure in the world of radio stations will go on for almost 10 years. Even though it has not much to do with mixing, it really carved him out a solid musical background and knowledge. First spin... At about 15, he discovers a new sensation when friends ask him to deejay at their birthday parties. Well let’s be honest, at this point, it is closer to “play records” than mixing, really… In 1987, he contacts one of the biggest events company in Braine-l’Alleud, the city where he lives. At this time, they need deejays for all kind of events, parties, weddings, etc. So they offer him the opportunity to start working for them from time to time. And so it all begins… In da club... In the late 80’s, he gets his first experience mixing in a club, La Belle Alliance, as a replacement dj. Kind of different than mixing for private parties, just as fun but way more exciting! 1990-1992: He works for the first time as resident DJ in a club called J.C. Club in Brussels. 1994-1997: He starts to work in the club Arc-En-Ciel, near Waterloo. 1998-2001: Paradox, a gay club in Ghent. 2001-2003: L’Espace 80 (The 80’s room of the Palladium in Baisy-Thy). 2003-2004: L’EXM in Walhain. 2006 up to this day: Le Rétro in Plancenoit, near Waterloo. Along those years, he never stopped improving his skills to mix flawlessly the pure disco from the late 70’s, as well as the music from the 80’s (his teenager years!) Nevertheless, Dance, House, Deep House, Trance, Progressive or even Retro House are some of his favorite styles. Beside the exclusive edits that he realizes for his performances, DJ Pascal also started since 2013 to remix some 80’s classics and even started to compose original tracks. More than ever, music is his force, his passion, his life. To be continued…

If the name VJ Grand sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve probably already grooved to his sound. Under the alias’ DJ Grand & Mark Wells, VJ Grand has been spinning his unique party style over Montreal’s airwaves and throughout the local club scene for over 15 years.   Born and raised in Montreal, Grand started spinning at house parties at the age of 14. By his 18th birthday he had become a favorite among students in Montreal’s West-Island area college scene. Soon after, he would bring his fun & energetic style to the masses by playing at some of Montreal’s hottest locations, from the trendy clubs on St.Laurent Boulevard to the hot spots on the famous Crescent Street. Over the years, his residencies have included Radio Lounge, clubs 737, Newtown, Joy, Beach Club, Sofia’s, Roxbury, Moomba and many more. His live sets have been featured on Montreal radio via Virgin Radio 95.9FM, The Beat of Montreal 92.5fm as well as NRJ (CKMF) 94.3FM.   Grand’s self-made style has been years in the making, but that didn’t stop him from reinventing his DJ game. In the summer of 2009 he introduced a unique brand of video mixing by merging his play set with produced, original, & official music videos from all the best artists, projected on screens throughout the venue. Re-born as VJ Grand, his already outrageous set has been taken to a whole new booty shakin’ level.    VJ Grand has played in the hottest clubs in the Montreal (and surrounding) area, including:  DJ’s Pub, Quai Sera, Industry/Deniros, Island, Fuzzy, Illume, Karinas, 737, Joy, Beachclub, Sofia, Ocean Drive, Tokyo, La Boom, Ballroom, Sona Bar, Metropolis, Groove Society, Orchid, London, Stereo Bar, Bourbon West, Bourbon North, Navia, Club Traffik, Light Ultra Club, Club Entourage, Radio Lounge, Le Chalet, Roxbury & Moomba.   www.

The number "7" is unique. It is mentioned not in vain 700 times in the bible. Seven are the colours of the rainbow, seven are the stages in the music scale, seven are the days of the world creation, seven are the mortal sins, seven are he wonders of the world, seven are the hills, upon which Rome lies. The proverbs are not missing that number neither – “A man should measure seven times, and cut one time”.

i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)
